Dr. Mulhern joined Lawrence Eye Care in August 2014. He received his Bachelor of Science in biochemistry from the University of Kansas and his medical degree and PhD from the University of Nebraska Medical Center where he also completed his internship in internal medicine. He completed his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics in Madison. Dr. Mulhern specializes in cataract surgery, laser procedures, diabetes management, glaucoma, diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the eye and routine eye care.
